The "2025 International Symposium on Frontiers of Biomaterials Science and Engineering and the 25th Anniversary Report Conference of the National Engineering Research Center for Biomedical Materials", jointly organized by the Chinese Society for Biomaterials and the National Engineering Research Center for Biomedical Materials, is scheduled to be held in Chengdu from July 11th to 14th, 2025.

This study presents a biomimetic coating of extracellular matrix (ECM) for cardiovascular stents, which is achieved through the enhanced functionalization of recombinant humanized type III collagen (rhCOL Ⅲ). The biomimetic strategies include structural biomimetic and component/functional biomimetic.

Recently, based on the relevant standard work of recombinant collagen by the National Medical Products Administration, the international standard proposal "Medical Devices Prepared by Bioengineering Biomaterials - Application Risk Management" led by our university
