Surface Coating Modifications on Devices

Functional surface modification of medical devices includes hydrophilic lubrication, antithrombotic, and antibacterial properties.

UV-curable hydrophilic lubrication coating: Achieving lubrication functionality based on PVP and polyacrylamide.

Antithrombotic coating: Composed primarily of phosphorylcholine and heparin, offering stable non-leaching coating with significant antithrombotic effects.

Antibacterial coating technology: Based on antibiotic loading and covalent grafting of non-antibiotic cationic polymers.

This surface functionalization technology can be applied to various medical devices such as implantable/interventional catheters, sutures, urinary catheters, and endotracheal tubes.
